Hannah is an artist emerging with a distinct style and ability to capture movement and essence of her subjects. She works in charcoal, oil, ink, pastels and pencil with instinctive feel in drawing and painting animal and human form. Working from life and in her light filled studio in rural Wiltshire, her work ranges from race horses to bantam chickens milling around her feet. A passion for, and years of experience riding and working with horses has honed a deeper understanding of the equine form in particular and she portrays them with accuracy and empathy.
She has been involved in a residency at Wincanton racecourse for the last few seasons, commissioned to paint the winners of their feature races, and also paints the winner of the King George at Kempton racecourse for the Jockey Club. These paintings hang in the Winning connections and Royal Box at the racecourse, and limited edition prints are produced for the winning owners.
Hannah lives near Salisbury, with her husband and two girls, surrounded by a wealth of inspiration to paint in the form of dogs, horses, chickens and Wiltshire wildlife.
